Has The Jordan Brand Gone Mad!?

Air Jordan 1 "Armor" as it’s officially called, owns a silver Foamposite upper and sits on an icy blue sole. Expect these to land at select retailers in November.

Today the finalized product of Kanye's "Power" remix was released. There was some delay but it was well worth the wait. The remix features heavyweights Jay-Z and Swizz Beatz along with new and improved verses by Kanye. This version also includes new beats and upgrades to the original beat. The three did work on this. Now listen up and do the Power-clap!

Just about everyone is familiar with the infamous "most-interesting man in the world," and Dos Equis. And just about everyone is familiar with New York artist KAWS! Well yes, a Kaws and Dos Equis collaboration has been made. As you can see Kaws and Dos Equis both share a common double X branding. Air Jordan II Retro Candy Pack

Well it looks like the Jordan brand will be dropping more bold colorways of the 2s. After recently releasing the University Blue colorway, Jordan Brand will be dropping the Air Jordan 2 in solid green, yellow, and red. Jay-Z x Nike Air Force 1 (All Black Everything) Collection

Wow! What a dope ass concept by Nike to collaborate with Jay-Z in this way. They made what is called an "All Black Everything" collection which contains 5 different uniquely designed pairs. Each pair involved in this collection is inspired by five countries: USA, France, China, Puerto Rico and Brazil. You may be thinking "They're all black, what's the difference?" Well, each one contains distinctive features that the other shoe may not have. Not really an Air Force fanatic but this is an incredibly raw concept. Pairs are currently going for $2,000+ on eBay, so your wallet will be hurting if your planning to come up on a pair anytime soon.

Ronnie Fieg x Culture Shoq x Asics Gel Lyte III

Ronnie Fieg has recently been working with the new Asics Gel Lyte IIIs. He had the Super Reds and the Navy-Aqua ones now these. This new colorway is supa DOPE and these are some dope shoes that are low in hype, which is always good to avoid. I definitely gotta cop these. Olympic 7 Retro X FTLOTG

This week in Sneaker News JB decided to release the very popular and world reknown Air Jordan Olympic 7 with a new twist to it. The new retro now bears the FTLOTG emblem on the side heel of it which is pretty decent if you ask me. The Originally August 21, 2004 release signified the U.S. olympic team Michael Jordan was apart of and shows his team number on the heel which was 9. SneakerHead's now avoid the hype and try to stay away from retros and new releases to be original and not become a "hypebeast" so with that said Let's see if the Air Jordan Olympic 7 Retro X FTLOTG is a cop or a drop. There were still very limited pairs and lines were still made to get their hands on these.

Chris Paul x Trevor Ariza

Darren Collison had a great rookie season as a replacement for injured Chris Paul. He proved that he is a talented young player with a lot of potential. Unfortunately, Chris Paul (Arguably the best Point Guard in the NBA) is back and was convinced to stay put instead of leaving the Hornets when his contract expires. So the question for the Hornets organization was, how can we build around Chris Paul? Well simple, you now have Collison as your backup which does no good so he becomes "trade bait." So the Hornets went ahead and pulled off a four team, five-player deal. In this deal, the Rockets sent Trevor Ariza to the Hornets, who sent Darren Collison and James Posey to the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers sent Troy Murphy to the New Jersey Nets. And the Nets sent Courtney Lee to the Rockets. After all is said and done the Hornets traded one veteran backup past his prime (Posey), and a limited backup (Collison), for a solid starter in Trevor Ariza. Incase you don't remember Ariza he was a key player, and defender in the Lakers Championship in 2009. In addition, the Hornets acquired Marco Bellineli (7.1 PPG last season) a sharp-shooting Italian guard earlier this week for Julian Wright (3.8 PPG last season). Chris Paul's wishes are coming true and the Hornets are looking more and more solid as the summer continues.

Kanye West Debuts "Power" x Changes Album Name

Kanye West recently took a break from the rap game and is looking to come back hard.

He recently shot a video for his new hit single, Power (the most epic track on the album). West also recently changed the title for his upcoming album. At first it was "Good Ass Job" but "Dark Twisted Fantasy" is the latest name. This new project is said to be very personal and the various tracks on the album suggest things that have happened to him. I dont know about you guys but I'm excited for the album and can't wait for Ye to drop it. This is a sneak peek of what's in store; looks like hes back! :D

LacedUp DXC July 31st Story/Pickups Final spotlight: Tony

My turn? The last one right? (; Ight so I came into DXC with like 3 bills, Tiffs, Coppers, and Dunkmans. The kicks I was really looking for were like Preme Blazers or like City 10s, pretty much just heat. So during like the first 3 hours of DXC I had found NOTHING in a good price, so I went ahead and copped two snapbacks (OG 1997 BULLS championship, and BLAZERS snapback). So then probably like 4 hours into DXC my boy Nem walks into DXC rocking BLACK SUPREME BLAZERS. So I ask him what's good with them? He's like "Naw, not for sale." So I was like "F***, w.e..." So then Nem comes to the Laced Up table and takes a quick peek, then he looked at my TIFFANYS(R.I.P) and was like "Yooo i'll trade you my BLACK SUPREME BLAZERS for your Tiffs and you add $50" so after a couple minutes of trying to work out a deal we settled for my Tiffs and $30 for the Premes. I was pretty FUCKING happy, but yeah it was a succesful DXC.

Alrighy this is quick and straight to the point. Well I came into DXC with too much heat and a good amount of cash. The whole time I was their I had people on my dick for ZEN GREY AIR YEEZY'S. I got so many offers on them and i ignored them all, i didn't even care what my fellow Laced Up members said i still knew i could get more money. So i waited patiently until  a guy by the name of Gio came along and offer me 526. I had to think about it for a while but because of the whole crowed around our table helping I took the cash and had a last picture with them. I didn't find any thing at DXC but be sure I will be coping some new heat that would put me back on top ;) On that rich boy swag!!!

ehem! well its only right that I got number six like my nigg LeBron but anyways on to business. DXC was MAD straight!! I went to DXC planning to cop some snappys and a GOOD WOOD or two and then pocket the rest but oh well. well both of my deals came to me I really didnt have to do that much searching. I moved quite a few things like my Jedi's, Aids' , Northface, Laney 5's and my Purple G-Shock. and I had about 1G in dough but then this nigga comes up to our table with a infa's pack and I thought damn I wanted these shits before they were releasing and me and chris were gunna split the pack but w.e we didn't so I thought that forsure this nigga would want 4 bills clean and I was like naw. so I ask and this nigga says 250?!! so im like naw I mean for both shoes and he's like yea 250 so after I talked to chris I was just like fuck it. BOOM! first cops too decent! so then I was chillin mad happy and this nigga comes out of nowhere with LOUIS VUITTON DONS. the only pair in DXC and I wasn't even thinking about trying to cop because I had an idea of how much dough he wanted and he was white so I was like OVERPRICED lol but I just asked anyways and he was like I'll sell them to you right now so I was happier than a mutha*** so after like 35 mins of hustling, negotiating and talking to this confusing ass nigga my babies were in my hand and I was DONE... so I came to the conclusion LacedUP does WORK! holla

Well, here it goes, I went in with not much money but just enough to come out feeling successful. I didn't take anything to sell cause I'm happy with what i have now and I'm not looking to sell anything. I was hoping to leave with at least two shoes ( not much heat but some chillin ishhh :) and a snapback. End of dxc=success. I left with a 1995 Cincinnati Reds snapback, basically DS 01' Black Cement 3s, & Basically DS Band-Aids. I bought the snapback from my boy Arny. I bought the 3s off of my boy Nem . Finally, I bought the Band-Aids from Laced Up's very own Travis. I got everything for a great price! Laced Up. It's a wrap. :D

LacedUp DXC July 31st Story/Pickups #3. Spotlight: Austin

okay okay, so my dxc experience! i literally went to dxc with no type of money. When i finally got to mekka, i had to beg my mom for a 20! Thank god she felt sorry for me. i honestly don't remember off the top of my head what type of deals i did at dxc, but i'll try my best to recap this dxc for the readers. It was great chillin with the whole lacedup fam for the first time. everyone was super chill. I brought a total of 7 kicks to dxc and a snapback. deadstock koston highs, deadstock oceanic highs, some purple sb blazers, shy pinks, money cat highs, and finally dinosaur jr highs. I went in to dxc looking to pick up any of the sneakers i've been wanting for a while. i sold my snapback to travis for 15, then copped a different one for 17. I ended up selling it for 20 because it was a little beat. I traded my purple blazers for a pair of raging bull 5's, then sold the 5's for 90. I traded my olympic dunks for some beat concord's which was a pretty big loss for me, but those oly's were pretty damn ugly and i came up on them for a good deal so technically i didnt lose as much as you would think, but that's a story for another day. i sold the concord's for 130. i worked some kid to get him to buy my dino's for 170 which is exactly what i was looking for. In the begging of dxc, the table was packed with heat, so there wasn't much room for everything. I kept the oceanic dunks in the box until the end of dxc, then i pulled them out. I sold them very quickly surprisingly, for 100. i made a total of 520. my boy sterling (same person i traded for the concords) had a pair of white cement 4s. i hesitated to cop at first, but i was tempted. the overall decision was a cop for 200, just because they were on my list, it was a nice price, and they're beautiful. After that, i was looking to cop a pair of grapes. I saw an icey pair for 2 bills, but i was trying to get them for cheaper. I saw some kid who kept coming around who wanted to sell me a pair for 150. When dxc was coming to and end i saw the kid, and bought them for 140. That's two sneakers off the list. Right after that cop, i went to buy a suns snapback off my boys over at Snapback2Reality... which i shouldn't have done, because if i didn't, i would've had a pair of og damn 1's! -_____-

Mmmmm...that DS smell! :D
Well, overall this DXC was chillin for me. I went in looking for some heat with 7 bills in hand. After a while of looking around I spotted many kicks that I was interested in but it was just this one pair on Deadstock Aves table that caught my eye. A DS pair of Luckys! They wanted $430 but I thought to myself and realized that was a little too much, so I told them I'd get back at them.
After more and more looking I spotted a clean pair of Jedis for a cheap price-First Cop!
Then I decided that I had to cop those Luckys no matter what, so I finally went back to them towards the end. After literally like an hour of bargaining with them we settled at $400 and that was my second and final cop!

LacedUp DXC July 31st Story/Pickups #1. Spotlight: Marcos

Okay well I stepped into DXC looking for a pair of Zen Yeezy's. I looked around.. Aldhair had a pair but they were to small. As DXC went on I couldn't find a pair so I opened my eyes to other pairs. I saw Black Premes Lows but they were a bit to beat, Hufs, & Black Preme Blazers. The black supreme blazers weren't for sale & the Hufs weren't exactly what I was looking for. So I went ahead and bought some Snapbacks. I bought 2 and later traded my used Bulls snappy for a DS Miami Heat one. As I saw dudes passing by I saw a pair of White-Cement IV's they were beautiful. I asked how much and the kid (his name was Kevin) said 4 bills. 4 bills? Fuck that.. I waited patiently about an hour and I lowered his price to $340 and that was definitely a cop. So I left with those and hella money.. Not bad. & That's my DXC Pickups.
